Skylands Trap Team comes to fans nationwide with this year’s GameTruck Marketing Campaign

Eperiential Partnership Brings One of the World’s Most Successful Video Game Franchises of All Time to Major Markets Nationwide for 4th Consecutive Year

Tempe,  AZ  (07/25/2014)  – GameTruck  Licensing,  LCC  announced  today that it will  bring Skylanders Trap Team™ the newest installment to the Skylanders® franchise to fans this summer  through  a nationwide  tour with  Activision  Publishing,  Inc.,  a  wholly  owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATVI).  The Skylanders Trap Team First- to-Play Tour is  a three-month,  five  market  mobile  marketing  campaign that kicks off on July 24 at San Diego Comic-Con and will end in late October. For each leg of the tour, a Skylanders-branded trailer will be converted in to a mobile theater, providing fans one of  the first consumer  hands-on  gameplay  opportunities  before  the  official  launch  of Skylanders Trap Team on October 5 in North America. Other stops on the tour include Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago, and New York.

Skylanders Trap Team brings a ground-breaking innovation  to  the Skylanders franchise by reversing the magic of its signature Toys-To-Life™ play pattern to let kids bring life-to- toys for the first time. With Skylanders Trap Team, Portal Masters seek out and defeat the most wanted villains in all of Skylands, pulling them out of the game and into living rooms by capturing them in magical Traps. Players can then send villains back into the game where they play as them to fight for good.
