The Top 3 Video Game Soundtracks of 2017
At GameTruck we wanted to find the best video game soundtracks, and it was surprisingly difficult! We had a hard time because we’ve played hundreds of games and hosted hundreds of game truck mobile video game parties in Jacksonville making it hard to choose a favorite. After many hours of listening to track after track to narrow down our list, we got together to vote. Finally, we are excited to announce we found our top three favorite video game soundtracks of 2017!
A Game Truck Favorite: Sonic Mania
We had a great time playing this game! This game combines classic background gameplay music with new and exciting fast-paced music. We loved that they kept some of the original Sonic the Hedgehog songs and remixed them to make them even better for the video game soundtrack! Nothing can beat an upgraded classic.

Next, We Enjoyed The Yooka-Laylee Soundtrack
This game comes from the creators of the classic game Banjo. This game concept was presented on Kickstarter and raised more than twelve and half times their goal. After its long anticipation, it’s finally here. You can find this game on Amazon, Best Buy, or Toys R Us. Yooka-Laylee is available for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and the Nintendo Switch.
Finally, We Agreed That Nier: Automata Should Be In The Top Three
This game involves androids and a lot of moving parts. You will find yourself joining the resistance of androids that are trying to take back earth from machine lifeforms. Sounds amazing, right? We won’t tell you anything more as we don’t want to spoil the game for you. When you’re ready to buy Nier: Automata, you can find it Best Buy, eBay, GameStop, and Walmart.
